My name is Bailey Harter.

I started Parkour around August of 2013, so roughly 6 1/2 years ago.
The reason I started Parkour is because I somehow found Ryan Doyle’s travel story’s on YouTube and immediately wanted to try and learn some flips. I was a pretty athletic kid and I new the basic concept of a front-flip so I got on top of my dog house and basically started throwing flips off it. Eventually I landed it and it took of from there.
The thing that excites me the most about training is knowing that I’m always going to learn something new. I love being able to go to the gym and know that it’s possible that I’m going to do something that I haven’t done yet.
My inspirations in Parkour is Ryan Doyle because he’s the whole reason I even started Parkour. And my other is Valtteri Luoma-aho because I really enjoy his style of movement and it’s a type of movement I can really relate to. Just really well connected and always adding a double full haha.
In 5 years time I hope to see myself in the stunt industry. I just think that particular job would be so much fun to be a apart of.
The highlight of my Freerunning career would most definitely have to be coming in first place at the USA Parkour Cup in freestyle. By far one of the best moments in my life. I trained every day for 4-6 hours leading up to that competition.
My favorite music is anything from $uicideBoy$ to Lofi type beats haha. So basically music that is extremely hype to very relaxing and calming. Just depends on how I’m feeling that day or what I’m working on while training.
My favorite film is most definitely John Wick.
I just have so much respect for the stunts that went down in that film and it’s just all around a great movie if your into action action type films.
My favorite super hero is of course spider man. If I had to have one super hero ability it would be what spider man has. Just being able to swing around and do all kinds of flips would just be so much fun.
Also some more stuff to know about me is that I love Photography and Cinematography. I really enjoy making cinematic travel edits and finding new and different ways of filming things or taking photos. I’m hoping one day that I could do my own Parkour travel story. That’s always been a dream of mine.
Also I’m a WFPF certified level 1 and 2 training instructor, and excited to see where the following years of Parkour take me.
