How to Post to WFPF
Its really important you follow this guide once to learn a few of the image attachment settings.
Posts will not be approved if the settings are incorrect, so take a few moments to learn them and everyone is a winner!
So you're a sponsored athlete and you want to post your content on the WFPF site? Well here is how you do it! It's the same process for videos, photos, or even news or blogs if you wish.
There are a couple of ways to start your post. Click the button at the top that says '+ New' or hover over the sidebar where it says 'Posts' and then click 'Add New'.

That will take you to the writing page for your posts. First begin by writing a title and your post content. We want every post to have some text content, so if you are sharing your new video a little background would be good.
At any point during the writing of your post, click 'Preview' on the right of your browser to see how your page will look. Use this to test embeds and images/image galleries before you submit for review.

If you want to embed a youtube video, all you have to do is paste the youtube URL on a new line, with nothing else.
You can get the URL by going under the video you want to share and clicking 'share'. If your video doesnt embed, make sure you have the clean URL and there isnt a lot of extra stuff in the link. (It works for Vimeo too!)
If you want to add some photos, either a single photo or a gallery, click the 'Add Media' button above the box you write your posts in. (You can ignore 'add contact form' it wont work for you anyway)
That will open up the media uploader. The easiest way to upload media is to drag it and drop it into your web browser window. The media uploader looks like this. You can click 'Upload Files' to upload new images, or click 'Media Library' to access existing images on the WFPF site.
To upload a single image, or a series of single images, you need to have selected 'Insert Media' on the left.
You MUST use the following attachment display settings for single images. Otherwise your post will not be able to be featured on the homepage.
Once you're all done, click 'Insert Into Post' and you will be taken back to your post editor with your image in place in your post.
[divider style="shadow"]To create a gallery of images, that the viewer can then click on to view each one bigger, click 'Create Gallery'.
Upload your images, and click them to select the ones you want included in your gallery.
You MUST use the following gallery settings for image galleries. Otherwise your post will not be able to be featured on the homepage.
Once you're all done, click 'Create New Gallery' and you will be taken back to your post editor. Single images will appear in the editor, and galleries will appear as big blue boxes with a camera logo on.
So now you're ready to get your post on the site. Just a few technical bits to do! First make sure you add your post to the right category (you may only have one available) and add some tags to your post too.
You can then save your post as a draft and come back to work on it more later, the site will save everything you've done so far. Or you can click 'Submit for Review' and once its been approved, it will go live on the site!
Once approved, your post will be on the site! All sponsored media is linked to from the WFPF homepage, but the best posts will also be shared in full on the homepage, aswell as on WFPF Facebook etc.
