VIDEO SUBMISSION JUDGING CRITERIA
All the application videos will be judged on the following criteria.
Difficulty: Movements that are considered particularly hard to accomplish are rewarded higher.
Execution: The actual ‘carry out’ and delivery of the movements.
Versatility: Ability to adapt or be adaptable to many different areas, environments and functions of movement.
Flow: Consecutive movements without break in flow/movement.
F.A.Q
– Should the movements be on concrete, grass or other surfaces?
It is upto you what surface you present your moves on. However, of course, concrete is likely to be judged in more favour that ‘soft’ surfaces.
– Should the video have music?
This is upto you. We recommend allowing the raw and natural sounds of landings etc, but it is your choice.
– Is video editing taken into account?
No. This is all about your movements and skill as a FreeRunner.
– Are long lines scored higher than individual moves.
Ultimately it is entirely upto you. Of course we recommend linking movements in the same way that you would in a competitive format. If there are certain difficult moves, then perhaps see how you can link them to score more favourably, but again this is your decision as to how you want to present yourself to the judges.
